Oct 7 – A strike by 150 workers at Navistar International’s truck customizing plant in Springfield, OH, is not expected to affect the company’s truck assembly and body plants, according to the Associated Press.
The workers went on strike Sunday night after rejecting a tentative contract agreement that union leaders reached with the company last week. Workers at the customizing plant bargain separately form the main workforce of the nearby assembly plant.
