Vipar Heavy Duty has appointed Deval Joshi as the organization’s new senior program manager, the company announced.

In his new role, Joshi will report to Larry Griffin, director of program management, and be responsible for developing supplier programs with Vipar Heavy Duty and its family companies.

“Deval is a seasoned professional with experience on both the parts and production sides of the business,” said Griffin. “His diverse industry knowledge and ‘roll up the sleeves’ attitude make him a great addition to the Vipar Heavy Duty team.”

Joshi has 14 years of experience in the strategic global purchasing, engineering and management fields and has more than eight years of experience in several roles with Navistar. At Navistar he worked on sourcing and procurement for the company’s parts, procurement group and production purchasing group. Joshi was also the director of global procurement at Milton Industries.

Joshi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
