Power Heavy Duty has appointed Mark Iasiello as its new general manager, the organization announced at its annual member meeting during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week.

Iasiello will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Power Heavy Duty including member development. He previously served as the director of business development, national accounts at Vipar Heavy Duty.

“Mark has been a valued member of our team and highly effective in helping us grow our national accounts program with regional and national fleets,” said Steve Crowley, president and CEO of Vipar Heavy Duty. “With his broad experience in the heavy duty industry and relationships with many Power Heavy Duty members, Mark was the ideal person to step into this role.”

Prior to his role at Vipar HD, Iasiello spent more than 20 years at Dayco Products where he served in a variety of sales management positions before becoming the company’s heavy duty national sales manager. He also spent 5 years at the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association as vice president of member development for commercial vehicle suppliers.

Power Heavy Duty is a network of independent distributors and service specialists more than 200 locations in the U.S. and Canada. It has been part of the Vipar Heavy Duty family of companies since Jan. 2014.
