The grand opening was co-sponsored by Summit Truck Group, Idealease, and OEMs International Trucks, IC Bus, Crane Carrier, and Ottawa. ExxonMobil brought their NASCAR simulator, a hit with all attendees. Other vendors who supported the grand opening include Allison Transmission, Bus Air, Caseco Truck Body, Eaton Roadranger, Empire Financial, GE Capital, Kalmar, Meritor, Navistar Used Trucks, Northern Radiator, Onspot of NA, Pana Pacific, PCM, Phillips Industrial, SAF Holland, Sir Speedy, SKF Seals, Webb Wheel, and Weller Truck Parts. Summit displayed a number of new International trucks and tractors during the open house, along with the latest product offerings from our vendors. A variety of used medium- and heavy-duty trucks of all makes were also available at the open house.

In attendance at the open house were Justin Fink, Summit President; Sean Carmichael, Vice President of Navistar’s Southwest Region; other Navistar representatives; and a number of local and Central Support Office Summit employees who welcomed the Tulsa and Muskogee customers to Summit Truck Group. Summit Vice President of Service Duke Fancher provided a brief overview of “The Summit Way” of meeting customers’ service needs.

According to Fink, “The open house gave us a chance to visit with prior Frontier customers as well as introduce new customers to all that Summit Truck Group has to offer in terms of vehicles, parts, service, financing, and lease and rental. We are excited to expand our reach into the Tulsa and Muskogee markets, and look forward to developing new customer relationships.”
