Isuzu Commercial Truck of America announced that it has delivered its 500,000th Isuzu-built truck since the brand entered the North American market 31 years ago.

The milestone was reached when an N-Series truck was sold to Farmers Home Furniture in Dublin, Ga., which was the 235th Isuzu truck the retail has purchased. Farmers has been purchasing Isuzu trucks since 1998.

“We are very proud that a half a million Isuzu-built trucks have been sold over the last 31 years,” said Shaun Skinner, executive vice president and general manager of Isuzu Commercial Truck of America. “This milestone is really a tribute to the durability and reliability of the Isuzu product.”

Isuzu offers diesel-powered trucks ranging from 12,000 pounds to 19,500 pounds GVWR in standard and crew cab models with several different wheelbases for different applications. The company also offers gasoline-powered low cab-forward trucks with an optional version that can be converted to run on compressed natural gas or propane.
