The Arpin group has donated an 18,000 square foot warehouse with a value of $260,000 to the Hardin County Habitat for Humanity in Radcliff, Ky. The organization will use the warehouse to store its extra inventory of donated furniture and housewares.

Habitat for Humanity typically gets many donations of furniture and appliances, especially during the holidays, and in the past, the Hardin County branch had to lease storage space for it, said the organization.

“We are overjoyed by Arpin Group’s donation of this warehouse,” said Scott Turner, executive director of Hardin County Habitat for Humanity. “The thousands of dollars we will save each year will go directly toward our mission to provide affordable housing for families with low incomes.”

When Arpin Group was deciding what options for its warehouse, the company determined that the best use was as a donation to habitat for humanity.

“They can put it to immediate use and further the outstanding charitable work they are doing in the local community,” said David Arpin, president and CEO of Arpin Group.

Arpin Group is the parent company of Arpin van Lines, Arpin International Group, Creative Storage Solutions, Arpin Associates and Arpin renewable Energy. For more information on Hardin County Habitat for Humanity, click here.
