Several lane closures on Interstate 64 in St. Louis are expected to impact drivers heading downtown from Sept. 4-10.

Crews will begin closing the ramps from McClausland, Clayton/Skinker, Hampton, Kingshighway and Papin to eastbound Interstate 64 at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5. Lane closures will start at 9 p.m.

Crews will begin reducing lanes on the interstate at Big Bend, with the highway fully closed between Tower Grove and Forest Park Avenue. The ramps from eastbound Interstate 64 to Hampton, Kingshighway and Tower Grove will remain open.

Crews will be removing, repairing and replacing the driving surface on the Interstate 64 bridge over Vandeventer.

All lanes and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8.

In addition to the closures on Interstate 64, workers will be closing the two left lanes on westbound Interstate 70 at the Blanchette Bridge for bridge maintenance starting 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5. All lanes are scheduled to open by 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7.
