Judge Rules Against Ex-Driver Who Claims Trucking Caused His Carpal Tunnel Syndrom

WNEP Channel 16 in Pennsylvania reported that Cumberland County Judge Edgar Bayley in Carlisle, Pa., ruled against Ricky Johnston of Shippenburg, Pa., who sued claiming he developed carpal tunnel syndrome from driving, loading and unloading trucks.
Judge Bayley in his ruling this week agreed with a lawyer for State Farm Insurance Company that the company did not have to pay the 39-year-old former truck driver because his injury did not come from an accident.
Johnston's lawyer said he is considering an appeal.
