The American Trucking Associations announced that NATSO has won its inaugural National Truck Driver Appreciation Week Video contest for the organization's video on why they love truckers.
NATSO, a national trade association representing travel plaza and truckstop owners and operators, explained the importance of our nation's 3.5 million professional truck drivers in a creative and memorable way, according to ATA.
Trucking companies, suppliers, state trucking association facilities, truckstops and travel plazas across the nation celebrated National Truck Driver Appreciation Week on Nov. 1-7. Proclamations were issued from governors and mayors across the U.S. and Senators and Representatives have congratulated the professional drivers both in state legislatures and in the U.S. Congress.
Next year's National Truck Driver Appreciation Week will be held Sept. 19-25, 2010.
