Snider Tire, Greensboro, N.C., will purchase Consolidated Tires by the end of the year, the company said. Consolidated, a truck service dealership, has six commercial/retail tire locations including Greenville, S.C.; Spartanburg, S.C.; Columbia, S.C.; Harleyville, S.C.; Toccoa, Ga.; and a retread plant in Pelzer, S.C.
"This is an opportunity for our company to join one of the strongest commercial dealers in the country and offer additional opportunities for our employees and new products and services for our customers," said Will Dennis, president of Consolidated Tires.
Snider Tire specializes in mounted tire programs with new tires and retreads. The company has 35 commercial and retread locations nationwide.
