BMW's Hybrid Tech to Power Workhorse Delivery Trucks

BMW has signed a multiple-year supply agreement to integrate its i3 range extender (REx) units into the Workhorse step van to extend the range of the Class 3-5 delivery vehicles.

BMW Range Extender Bolsters Workhorse Hybrid Delivery Vehicles

Workhorse Group Inc. will begin offering its E-Gen hybrid delivery trucks with BMW's i3 range-extender solution to produce more on-board electricity that will extend the range of the delivery vehicle, the company announced.

FAA Approves Testing of Workhorse Drone Delivery System

Workhorse Group says it has obtained permission from the Federal Aviation Administration to test its Horsefly delivery drone, an eight-motor, eight-rotor “octocopter” designed to work with a specially equipped E-Gen electric walk-in van.

UPS has purchased 125 Workhorse E-Gen gasoline-electric hybrid step vans to reduce operating costs and save fuel, the Atlanta-based parcel delivery company announced. The E-Gen trucks will be replacing gasoline-powered vehicles.

Bakery Fleet Orders AMP Electric Vans

A national bakery company has placed the first orders for the AMP/Workhorse E-100.

AMP Holding Inc. has announced that its AMP Trucks subsidiary has received an initial purchase order for Workhorse E-100 Walk-In Vans from a national bakery company. The Workhorse Electric Vans have a range of up to 100 miles and will be built on the W62 chassis.
