Wabco Says New OptiPace Cruise Control is Tuned for Efficiency

Wabco introduced its OptiPace predictive cruise control system for trucks and buses, which uses on-board digital maps and proprietary algorithms to anticipate and adapt the vehicle's speed based on the road ahead.

Smart Drive Systems and Wabco Form Strategic Alliance

TCA, GRAPEVINE, TX -- Wabco and SmartDrive Systems announced they are forming a strategic partnership, which allows Wabco to expand its fleet management solutions to commercial vehicle fleets in North America. Integration between the two systems give fleets better data on driver behavior.

Wabco Reman Solutions Named Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year

Wabco Reman Solutions was named the “Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year” Award winner by the Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group. Accepting the award from Sandra Standley, right, chairman of HDRG, is a team from Wabco Reman Solutions, including (left to right) Joe Kripli, Global Business Development Leader; Jeffrey Stukenborg, Chief Engineer; and Salvador Munoz, Reman Business Leader.

Wabco Holdings Inc. announced that its Reman Solutions business has been named Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year by the Heavy Duty Remanufacturers Group of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association.

Wabco is partnering with Huf Electronics Bretten to develop Wabco’s next generation tire pressure monitoring system for trucks, buses and trailers. Wabco’s new system will be available to original equipment manufacturers and in the aftermarket in the second half of 2014.
