Volvo Trucks Announces New Full-Service Dealer Facility in New Mexico

The newly opened full-service Bruckner’s Trucks Sales location in Albuquerque, N.M. features 18 service bays and more than $1 million in parts inventory in the 13,000 square-foot parts warehouse.

Volvo Trucks’ service capabilities in the Southwest region of the U.S. have grown with the addition of a new Bruckner’s Truck Sales facility in Albuquerque, N.M.

Tidewater Transit Co. of Kinston, N.C., won the Volvo Trucks Safety Award in the over 20 million miles category

Volvo Trucks once again honored two of its safest customers with the 2013 Volvo Trucks Safety Award during the American Trucking Associations Management Conference & Exhibition. Each fleet was presented $25,000 to be used toward safety-related activities.

Problems with a parking brake have led to a recall of Volvo and Mack trucks. Volvo Trucks North America is recalling 701 model year 2011-2013 VHD and VNL trucks manufactured Dec. 13, 2010, through July 17, 2012, while Mack Trucks is recalling 331 model year 2011-2013 CXU trucks manufactured Nov. 23, 2010, through March 19, 2012.
