Peterbilt to Expand Denton Production Facility

Peterbilt has plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Denton, Texas after the Denton City Council approved an eight-year, 70% tax abatement for the facility's production.

Ford Trains 8,000 on Aluminum F-150 Production

Ford is putting 8,000 of its workers through an intensive training program to ensure everyone knows how to work with the new materials, such as aluminum panels,in the 2015 F-150 full-size pickup at its Kansas City Assembly Plant.

Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing Value Up More Than 50%

The total value of shipments in the heavy-duty truck manufacturing business have increased the most of three vehicle classes over the past five-years, according to new 2012 Economic Census statistics released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau.
