Lawmakers in Maine have given final passage to a bill allowing speed limits to increase along Maine’s interstates, but are moving to pull the plug on a study to determine the feasibility of an east-west highway.

Some Utah Speed Limits Likely to Move Higher

Speed limits along some Utah interstates could move higher for both trucks and four-wheelers as soon as later this spring due to legislation signed into law by Governor Gary Herbert. It expands the area along I-15 where 80 mph is permitted.
