UPS Rolls Out RNG in Two States

UPS has put steps in place to supply its fleet for Memphis, Tenn. and Jackson, Miss. with an estimated 15 million diesel gallon gas equivalents of renewable natural gas (RNG) as part of a multi-year agreement with Memphis Light, Gas and Water and Atmos Energy Marketing, LLC.

Yokohama Breaks Ground on New Mississippi Truck Tire Plant

The groundbreaking for the Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi plant was attended by Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant (left) and Hikomitsu Noji, president and representative director of Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.

Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi, a manufacturing subsidiary of Yokohama Tire Corp., officially broke ground on its new commercial truck tire manufacturing plant in West Point, Miss., which is slated to begin operations in October 2015.
