Port of Virginia Relaunches Clean-Diesel Incentive Program

The Port of Virginia has relaunched its Green Operator Program, which provides up to $20,000 toward the purchase of clean-diesel trucks that service the port and up to $6,000 toward the purchase and installation of retrofit devices, announced Virginia Clean Cities (VCC).

Clean Diesel Truck Share Tops 37 Percent

More than 37 percent of all diesel medium and heavy duty commercial trucks registered in the U.S. are now equipped with newer technology clean diesel engines (MY-2007 or newer with near-zero particulate emissions), according to new data compiled by IHS Automotive for the Diesel Technology Forum.

Agility Fuel Systems and Clean Energy Fuels announced a joint CNG fuel system sales program to reduce the incremental cost of heavy-duty natural gas trucks. Under the program, Agility and Clean Energy will work with trucking customers and offer CNG fuel systems installed at a substantially reduced cost when there is a natural gas fueling agreement.
