Early Bird Deadline This Week for Fleet Safety Conference

The early-bird registration deadline is this Friday for the Fleet Safety Conference, July 22-23 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Ill. Sessions aimed at heavy-duty truck fleets will include topics such as what you don't know about truck inspections and an update on hours of service and electronic logs.

Christenson Transportation Expands to Ohio

Christenson Transportation, Progressive Transportation's agent carrier, has expanded its arrangement with the Florida East Coast Railway to provide more reliable shipping between the Northeast and Florida, according to the company.

Kenworth's Refreshed Cabovers Now Available

Kenworth has refreshed its K270 Class 6 and K360 Class 7 cabover trucks with an updated exterior, dash and gauge cluster, front air disc brakes, electronic braking module, Allison six-speed transmission, push-button control shifter, and Dana rear axles.

Bruce Stockton Joins Kenan Advantage

An interim assessment of the Energy Department’s collaborative effort says that the concept vehicles are closing in on a 50% improvement in freight efficiency and a 20% improvement in engine efficiency.
