FMCSA Installs DataQs Fix

Carriers and drivers can now get a violation removed from their CSA scores if a court has dismissed it. Under a system that went live August 23, carriers and drivers can submit proof of dismissal or a not-guilty finding through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s DataQs portal.

Industry Pushes to Hide CSA Data from Public, FMCSA Responds

UPDATED -- A coalition of industry groups is putting pressure on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to remove CSA safety scores from public view. In an August 22 letter to Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx, American Trucking Associations and 10 other groups said the scores are not likely to provide an accurate assessment of a carrier’s safety.
