Daimler Sees NAFTA Class 6-8 Market Dropping 15%

Calif. Clean Air Plan Calls for Further NOx, PM Reductions

As part of a broad-reaching clean air program, California has proposed a low-NOx engine standard for heavy trucks. Truck and engine makers have said in the past that striving for low NOx in diesels could conflict with federal efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by increasing fuel economy.

Truck Cargo Thefts on The Rise

The number of truck cargo thefts in the U.S. increased in the first quarter of the year but the average value of each heist declined, according to a new report from the logistics security services provider FreightWatch International.
