Truck Registrations Rise For Second Straight Month

The Polk Index of U.S. New Commercial Vehicle Activity shows that 2010 new registrations are on track to yield 346,300 units, which would put year-over-year growth at 7 percent.

New commercial vehicle registrations continued to see year-over-year improvement in April, with an increase of 2.8 percent from April 2009, according to Polk Commercial Vehicle Solutions. April marked the second straight month to see a year-over-year gain, which hasn't occurred since 2006
