TravelCenters of America Donates $286,877 to the St. Christopher Fund

TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, has turned over $286,877.99 in donations to the St. Christopher Truckers Development and Relief Fund. This is the largest single donation amount the SCF has received to date, and takes the total donations that TravelCenters has helped to raise for the Fund to nearly $1.1 million.

UPDATED--The Teamsters ABF Master Negotiating Committee voted Wednesday that in light of the overwhelming vote against authorizing a strike against ABF Freight, the company's last proposal for the Central Region Local Cartage Agreement would be accepted. As a result, the ABF National Master Freight Agreement is now fully ratified.

Clean Energy Takes Initial Step to Bring LNG to Florida

Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has placed a purchase contract on property where it hopes to build a liquefied natural gas fuel terminal in Jacksonville, Fla. This would be the first LNG facility on the Eastern seaboard to specifically supply LNG for the maritime, heavy-duty trucking and rail industries, according to the company.
