Four-Wheelers Less Concerned Than Before Over Dangerous Driving Behaviors

The number of people who believe that texting or emailing while driving is a very serious threat declined from 87% in 2009 to 81% in 2012.

According to a new survey from AAA, Americans are less likely than they used to be to perceive a serious threat from dangerous driving behaviors such as drunk, aggressive or drowsy driving.

Transportation Industry Bands Together to Support 9/11 Remembrance Project

The Remembrance Rescue Project is a non-profit firefighter support organization has restored the only two surviving heavy rescue trucks to respond to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. On Sept. 11, 2001, the entire unit of nine firefighters with the Fire Department, City of New York Rescue 4 unit and 11 firefighters with the Rescue 5 unit lost their lives trying to save others at the World Trade Center complex.

Officials from the City of Columbus and others break ground at the site of will be the City's second publicly accessible compressed natural gas fueling station.

The City of Columbus plans to build a second compressed natural gas fueling station scheduled to open in March of 2014. The new station will service the City’s northern refuse fleet operation, which has more than 65 vehicles, its Planning & Operations Division, which has more than 45 vehicles, and other City divisions.
