Sometimes called a "pusher" or "dead axle," Adaptive Loading allows the axle to be lifted completely off the ground when it's not needed, providing additional fuel savings over the straight 6x2 setup.

Mack's 13-liter MP8 engine may be small in stature, but it's big on performance. It delivers 505 horsepower and 1,860 lb-ft of torque, which is more than enough to pull 138,000 lbs through the mountains on B.C.'s Vancouver Island.
