Qualcomm announced it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Omnitracs subsidiary to Vista Equity Partners, a U.S.-based private equity firm. Omnitracs was a pioneer in in-cab communication, developing the first widely used satellite tracking and communications system for truck fleets, and today offers a variety of fleet management and telematics solutions.

Taikang Technology, a commercial vehicle manufacturer in Taiwan, has twenty-five years of automotive experience and has expertise in upfitting specialized municipal commercial vehicles.

XPO Logistics Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of 3PD Holding Inc. in a transaction valued at approximately $365 million. The company financed the acquisition and related fees and expenses with the net proceeds of its recent $220.5 million public offering of common stock, together with cash on hand.
Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. has acquired certain of the assets of the Southeast drayage division of Transport Corporation of America Inc., a provider of intermodal transportation and related services in the Southeast.
