Love’s Travel Stops is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014. Founder and executive chairman Tom Love announced the company would undergo a record year of building.
Pegasus TransTech Corp. announced that Pilot Flying J and Love’s Travel Stops have extended their exclusive agreements to provide Transflo Express truck stop scanning at all locations in the United States and Canada through Dec. 31, 2030.

Love’s Travel Stops will introduce fast-fill compressed natural gas fueling capability for heavy-duty trucks at its travel stop located on Interstate 40 at exit 74 in east Amarillo, Texas. The Love’s Fast-Fill CNG station is expected to be open by the second quarter of 2014.

Love’s Travel Stops opened three new travel stops in Pecos, Texas, on I-20, at Exit 42; St. Louis, Mo., on I-70, at Exit 246A; and Lexington, S.C., on I-20, at Exit 51, expanding its network to 312 locations nationwide.

Love’s Travel Stops announced a partnership with Truckers Against Trafficking, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness among professional truck drivers and travel stop employees to combat human trafficking in our country. Love’s also donated $10,000 to help TAT with the costs of producing materials to support its mission.

Love’s Travel Stops opened a new travel stop in Bloomsdale, Mo., on I-55, Exit 157, on Thursday, Nov. 21. The Bloomsdale Love’s includes 78 truck parking spaces, Chester’s Chicken and McDonald’s restaurants and a Love’s Truck Tire Care center. The location is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
