Driver Coercion Final Rule Goes into Effect Jan. 29

A final rule prohibiting acts of coercion aimed at compelling truck drivers to violate federal safety regulations has been published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and becomes effective on Jan. 29, 2016.

MCSAC Public Meeting on Awarding Credit for Safety Programs

The Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee will hold a two-day public meeting later this month on how to “credit carriers and drivers who initiate and establish programs that promote safety beyond the standards established in FMCSA regulations."
