Scenes from Expo Transporte in Guadalajara, Mexico

GUADALAJARA, MEXICO -- At first glance the photos of this trucking show may look a lot like what you will see at major events in the U.S. But look a little closer at the Spanish writing in the background and the pretty models. These photos were shot in Guadalajara, Mexico, during the nation’s largest truck and bus show, Expo Transporte, which opened Nov. 20. ATA to Allow Non-Members in National Truck Driving Championships

ORLANDO -- The American Trucking Associations’ board of directors on Tuesday voted to make the National Truck Driving Championships more inclusive by allowing non-ATA members of state trucking associations to compete in the annual safety competition. The decision was made during the group’s Management Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Fla.

Transportation Industry Bands Together to Support 9/11 Remembrance Project

The Remembrance Rescue Project is a non-profit firefighter support organization has restored the only two surviving heavy rescue trucks to respond to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. On Sept. 11, 2001, the entire unit of nine firefighters with the Fire Department, City of New York Rescue 4 unit and 11 firefighters with the Rescue 5 unit lost their lives trying to save others at the World Trade Center complex.
