The national average for DEF tote refill prices dropped six cents to $1.91 per gallon in the U.S. during the month of August 2013 compared with the previous month. In Canada prices followed the same trend and decreased by two cents to CAD$ 0.57 per liter in the same period.

DEF truck stop prices have remained stable at $2.79/G in the U.S. since November 2012 and at CAD$ 0.80/L in Canada since October 2011. Twenty-four pumps distributing bulk DEF were added to the network in the United States over the last month.

Bulk DEF prices largely held between February and March 2013 (this includes full truck load and less than full truck load bulk deliveries, and tote refills).

The U.S. national DEF pump price remained level at $2.79 per gallon for the third consecutive month in February 2013.
Prior to this period, the national average has only held steady month-to-month once, which occured in April 2012.

Tote refill deliveries made in January 2013 recorded a 5-cent drop on the previous month across the 10 U.S. pricing hubs monitored by DEF Tracker.
