Penske Used Trucks opened its third used commercial truck dealership in the United States in Phoenix.
Mack Trucks will open a new dealership in Cotulla, Texas, in late August. The new Valley Truck Centers’ will feature 22 service bays and offer new and used vehicles, parts delivery and road service -- and Mack's largest dealer pylon sign.

CSM Companies, and French-Ellison Truck Center, announced that the two companies will merge on March 31. The result will establish the company as one of the largest commercial truck dealership groups in the United States with 19 facilities.

There’s no shortage of readers who want me to intervene on their behalf because they’ve been victimized in some way. At least that’s how they describe their plight. Maybe it’s a “lemon” of a truck, possibly a contract dispute, sometimes a fight with an idiotic bureaucracy. For reasons I don’t always understand, they think I’m a consumer watchdog of some sort. I’m not.

Peterbilt announced many dealer awards during its annual Dealer Meeting in Fort Worth, near Peterbilt’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in Denton, Texas. The business meeting celebrated both dealer performance and Peterbilt’s 75th anniversary.
Dealers are “fired up” to sell trucks, with new emphasis on highway applications. And executives will "relaunch the Mack brand" at the ConExpo-ConAgg show in March.
