Daimler Trucks North America unveiled the Freightliner Inspiration Truck in Nevada, where it is the first autonomous truck legally licensed to travel on public highways, according to the company. Journalists from around the world got a chance to see it up close.
As it showcased its Freightliner Inspiration Truck automated truck, Daimler Trucks North America talked about sources for its inspiration -- primarily customers, but also other factors, including regulations.

Daimler Trucks North America unveiled its Freightliner Inspiration Truck, an autonomous truck licensed for Nevada highways, in grand scale at the Hoover Dam after projecting past, present and future milestones on the dam itself. The Inspiration Truck drove across the dam as the finale.
