Cummins Power South recently launched a new comprehensive diesel engine training program. The three-month graduate program, entitled CPSUniversity, is designed to provide rigorous in-depth training on Cummins heavy-duty and mid-range engine products and is currently being offered to diesel engine technology students who have completed a qualified diesel technology program.

LOUISVILLE -- Cummins has been restructuring its engine business, moving from a product-centric organization to a structure based on customers and markets.
Truck and engine maker Navistar International on Wednesday made a decidedly lower-key appearance before the trucking press, in contrast to last year’s event at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville that featured much pomp and circumstance.
Cummins will have its new 2013 engine line up at this year's Mid-America Trucking show, boasting 2% better fuel economy, along with some new gearing recommendations to increase fuel economy and lower operating costs.
Cummins Turbo Technologies is showing off a suite of near-market and future solutions that it says can improve the fuel efficiency of any modern diesel engine by at least 6%, at the Mid-America Trucking Show this week.
