A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit Friday morning handed down a blanket dismissal of a bid by the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association and the Teamsters union to overturn the pilot.

The building of a second bridge connecting Detroit with Windsor, Ontario, has moved another step closer to reality with U.S. federal approval, but opposition to the plans still exist, including in the form of lawsuits.
