Freightliner Expands Severe-Duty Vocational Options

New product options include the Allison 4700 Rugged Duty Series (RDS) automatic transmission, LifeGuard RollTek seats, improved routing and clipping, LED headlights in the M2 106 and M2 112, Bendix Tire Pressure Monitoring, and the 122SD auto hauler package.

J.J. Keller Program Lets Fleets Reserve ELDs

FHWA Tests Three-Truck Platoon on Virginia Interstate

The latest series of platoon tests will evaluate Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control technology, which adds vehicle-to-vehicle communications to the adaptive cruise control capability now available in new vehicles and allows trucks to operate more smoothly as a unit, reducing and controlling the gaps between trucks.
