Wabco Appoints President of Business in the Americas

Wabco Holdings has appointed industry veteran Jon Morrison president of its Americas business unit, the company announced.

Morrison has spent 30 years in the global transportation industry and most recently served as president, North America for American Axle & Manufacturing. From 2006 to 2014, he served as president and general manager of Meritor Wabco.

“These are exciting times in the commercial vehicle industry, and I look forward to advancing WABCO’s success as a preferred supplier of technologies that further improve the safety and efficiency of trucks, buses and trailers across North and South America," Morrison said.

Morrison is actively involved in industry associations and organizations and is currently a member of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association and its Heavy Duty Business Forum. He is a former member of the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute External Advisory Board as well as the Intelligent Transportation Society of America board of directors and leadership circle.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Management from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
