Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling 21 Western Star 4700, 4800 and 4900 trucks in the 2015 model year because their speedometers may malfunction and fail to display the truck speed, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

The trucks covered by the recall were manufactured from Nov. 15, 2014, to January 30 of this year. To fix the problem, DTNA dealers will install a new speedometer in each recalled truck. There will be no charge for this service.

The recall is expected to begin Aug. 7. Truck owners can reach DTNA customer service at (800) 745-8000. DTNA’s number for this recall is FL-683.
