Help Inc. opened two fully operational PrePass weigh stations in Mississippi.

The stations are located on I-55, 20 miles south of Memphis.

PrePass used HELP Inc.’s investment of $4 million to build the two new stations. Help Inc. is a not-for-profit, public-private partnership working for safety in the transportation industry.

The stations will allow more than 405,000 qualified trucks in Mississippi safely bypass weigh stations, according to Help Inc.

There are now 306 weigh stations in the U.S. According to the company, PrePass sites have proven to cut costs, time and fuel while going through inspection, while directing more of officials' time to those trucks and companies that need more attention.
