The California Air Resources Board has designated August as "Gear Up for Clean Truck Month."

CARB enforcement teams will be conducting several highly visible events throughout California, including inspections at scales, roadside locations, fleet facilities, truck stops and other areas where diesel vehicles are present.

Enforcement actions can involve the issuance of citations as well as fleet audits. CARB will also be providing compliance assistance courses throughout the month.

More information about the California truck and equipment requirements or training courses can be found online at the CARB TruckStop website.
