The Toledo, Ohio, area firm of Toledo Spring, Brake and Alignment Service will offer truck and bus inspections at half-price or $40 for all of June during Truck Safety Month.

"The purpose of our program is to help call attention to the national truck and bus safety inspections which will be performed by law enforcement officers on June 2-4," explained Brad Rubini, president of Toledo Spring. "This national program is called Roadcheck and is sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance. Federal, state and local officials at more than 1,000 locations across America will conduct inspections and issue citations if deficiencies are discovered."

Toledo Spring says it can offer the trucking industry's most comprehensive DOT Inspection program via its sophisticated VIS (Vehicle Inspections System) Road Simulation and Brake Dynamometer machine. Vehicles that pass this undercarriage inspection will receive a Federal DOT sticker along with brake performance inspection paperwork.

Already compulsory in Europe and Australia, this comprehensive test usually takes about an hour.
