The fifth in a series of public hearings on the federal government's hours of service proposal gets under way today in Indianapolis.

The hearing will be held today and tomorrow, June 20-21, at the Union Federal Southwest Pavilion, Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th St. If you wish to offer testimony, it will be taken on a first-come, first-speak basis.
Officials with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration are especially keen to hear specific suggestions for how to revamp the proposal.
Other upcoming hearings will be held June 26-27 in Hartford, Conn., June 29-30 in Atlanta, and July 6-7 in Washingotn, DC.
