A tanker truck smashed into a Pennsylvania Turnpike toll booth Tuesday evening, engulfing a section of the toll plaza in flames. The driver of the truck died and three toll employees were injured.

State Police told the Associated Press that the driver, Kennith S. Konecny of Bryan, TX, may have had a heart attack just before the crash, about 1 1/2 miles from the Ohio state line. An autopsy was pending.
The truck's cargo tank was empty, but spilled diesel fuel ignited a fire, engulfing three boths and the toll plaza canopy.
