Tanker truckers traveling in New Jersey, beware: The Route 95 ramp that funnels on to westbound Route 80 in Teaneck, NJ, is known as "tanker turn," and yet another rig rolled over there last week.

Last Thursday, a truck loaded with beer rolled onto its side at the junction, reports the Bergen (NJ) Record. No one was seriously hurt, but the wreck affected traffic for hours.
The interchange has been a problem spot for years, with more than two dozen rigs succumbing to the dangerous curve since 1996, some fatally.
After two more wrecks last month, the mayor of Teaneck sent a letter to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority urging the agency to redesign the ramp. Teaneck officials are tired of the town's taxpayer funds being used to deploy emergency workers to crashes at the crash-prone intersection.
A Turnpike Authority spokesperson told the paper that the agency is trying to come up with strategies to make people, especially truck drivers, more aware of the dangerous curve.
