The Research and Special Programs Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting March 28 and 29 to discuss ways to improve safety, increase customer service, and reduce costs (especially for small businesses) through its management of the hazardous materials transportation safety program.

RSPA is soliciting comments on the level of satisfaction with services it provides such as the Hazardous Materials Information Center, training, Internet access, and fax on demand.
The agency said it is also interested in comments on its response to written response for information, applications for exemption and approval, registration statements, and other administrative actions.
