Hino Recalls 2018-2019 Trucks for Valve Train Nuts

Hino Motor Sales U.S.A., Inc. is recalling an estimated 45 2018 to 2019 NE8J, NJ8J, and NV8J trucks because the screw lock nuts that secure the engine's valve train may not have been properly tightened during manufacturing, and could potentially loosen within the engine and damage it.

TRALA Requests ELD Exemption Extension Through December

The Truck Rental and Leasing Association has petitioned the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for an extension to its current 90-day ELD rule waiver for short-term rental trucks that would extend through the end of the year.
