21 Indicted in New York CDL Scheme

Twenty-one people were indicted in New York on April 2 for paying individuals to fraudulently provide them with answers to written commercial driver’s license examinations administered by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.

11 Arrested, Charged in Alleged CDL Scheme

In a complaint unsealed last week in federal court in Brooklyn, N.Y., 11 individuals were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud as part of an extensive scheme to let applicants for New York State commercial driver’s licenses cheat on required tests.
