FMCSA Plans Sleeper Berth Test

UPDATED (2) -- The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is working on a field test of alternatives to the current sleeper berth rule.

ATA, Minnesota Trucking Association Request Sleeper Berth Pilot Project

The American Trucking Associations and the Minnesota Trucking Association have jointly petitioned the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to conduct a pilot program to study the effect of increased flexibility in the use of sleeper berth breaks by truck drivers.
