Vac-Tron Equipment is rolling out a new series of Power Take Off truck driven systems for vacuum excavation that is available on Ford and Freightliner chassis.

In the PTO vacuum system, all components are controlled from the truck eliminating the extra weight , space and cost of a pony motor. An available hitch package also makes it possible to tow other equipment to a job site.

Vac-Tron’s full line of the Hydro Truck Vac series has debris tanks ranging from 300 to 1500 gallons in size. The PTO system drives positive displacement vacuum blowers that produce 1,000 to 2,600 cfm. The units come standard with a high pressure water system, full hydraulic rear claw door, reverse pressure and a Big Red filter housing that cleans the air down to 0.5 microns before it passes through the vacuum pump.

The 300-gallon unit is available on a Ford F-550 chassis, the 500 gallon unit is available on a Ford F-650 chassis and the 800-gallon unit is on a Ford F-750 chassis. The HTV 1573 full hydraulic PTO unit has 1500-gallon debris capacity, 700-gallons of freshwater, 2,600 cfm with reverse pressure and a fully hydraulic boom.
