The Blue Bloodhound app is designed to connect truck drivers with available jobs from carriers and is now available for Apple’s mobile devices on the App Store.

Already released for Android devices, Blue Bloodhound matches motor carriers with CDL-licensed, 1099 independent truck drivers. Through the app, carriers can post available jobs and driver can apply for the jobs that fit their schedules. Carriers can view current driver files and quickly verify qualifications.

Carriers can also actively search from a pool of thousands of qualified drivers to find a match that best suits their needs. Nearly 4,000 CDL-licensed drivers have signed up for Blue Bloodhound, according to the company.

“There’s a significant amount of inefficiency in trucking, which is a serious concern for an industry that depends on being as efficient as possible,” said Todd Warner, chief operating officer of Blue Bloodhound. “With over 70% of our traffic coming from mobile devices, being available for iOS gives us yet another way to quickly connect drivers with carriers at critical moments on the road or in the office.”
