Omnitracs’ Roadnet Transportation Suite 3.7.3 is the new version of its vehicle routing, scheduling, tracking, mobile workforce and fleet management platform with added capabilities and improved data integration and ease-of-use changes.

Version 3.7.2 provides enhanced integration with the Roadnet Anywhere SaaS platform that allows sharing of information between Territory Planner and Roadnet Anywhere’s dispatching tools. Territory Planner customers can now push route plans to the cloud, dispatch and manage those routes in real time.

Information gleaned from dispatch such as geocodes and service times can also be pushed back into Territory Planner to provide improved and more accurate data for planning the next day’s routes.

Roadnet has also increased support for iOS by including improved communication between the driver and dispatch through the app. The upgraded suite for iOS also provides improvements to its routing capabilities and better support for certain industries. This includes enhancements around compartment routing used by the fuel, oil and gas, and bulk liquid industries.

Roadnet Transportation Suite 3.7.2 is now available.

“Drivers are being asked to manage a multitude of tasks that extend beyond the cab of the truck while providing outstanding customer service,” said Cyndi Brandt, senior director of product marketing and alliances for Roadnet. “These significant enhancements provide more support to drivers to ensure that they can efficiently handle multiple tasks without having to compromise service.”
