The Goodyear G682 RSD Fuel Max is a PreCure retread option designed for drive applications in regional fleets that require fuel efficiency, traction and long miles.

The G682 RSD Fuel Max is SmartWay-verified and incorporates fuel-saving compounds and tread designs to lower rolling resistance and promote greater fuel efficiency. It also features a rugged tread designed for better traction at all stages of wear.

The retread has a scrub-resistant compound to help extend tread life and resist excessive wear, chunking, cracking and chipping. It also has a 24/32-inch tread depth for longer tread life.

The G682 RSD is currently available with 225-millimeter width. Goodyear expects 215 millimeter and 235 millimeter options to be available in June 2015.

“Whether traveling up and down hills or moving away from loading docks, regional fleets want a truck tire retread that offers exceptional fuel economy, traction, and mileage,” said Norberto Flores, marketing manager at Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems. “The G682 RSD Fuel Max helps deliver these qualities.”
